In what seems to be just another day on the Escalante Western, 3 rebuilt SD40's bring 47 loads of New Mexico's finest black diamonds down to the junction switch. With the red rocks in the background complimenting the company paint on the units, they just seemed to go hand in hand. Alas the harsh reality is that the ESWR was closing in on the end of its existence and would be done within 30 days. But the memories remain.
