2019.03.28_It´s time for gender equality

In the framework of the International Women’s Day 2019, a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women, Dialogue Café would like to address one of the major challenges of the XXI century, the SDG5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls, by joining the Women´s Day Campaign #BalanceforBetter, hence dedicating a session to celebrate collective action working hard for gender equality, which is an essential element for economies and communities to thrive at all levels: political, economic, social, and cultural.

During the session many challenges and experiences were shared, expecially related to SDG5 targets on fighting violence against all women and girls, promoting women´s participation and leadership at all levels of decision making, ensuring equal rights to economic resources.
