Film

Other then blowing through a roll of 24 photos on Polar peak last weekend I am starting to slow down a bit.

This shot was taken with Kodak Gold 200 film, its a entry level film with a bit over the top orange tints, but for the price its hard to beat.

Spent the last 3 hours going through 48 images and scanning the good negatives in and editing out the dust and adjusting the colour and exposure in photoshop.

I also seem to be slowing down a lot when editing, I cant remember the last time I spent 3 hours working on photos. Lately its just been take 100+ pictures and throw the alright ones on Flickr. With film and having to wait for the scanner to scan the images and then edit them in Photoshop I am forced to slow down my work flow instead of rushing them through lightroom with a few quick presets.

Its only been a week since I started shooting film, it seems to be going alright so far; however, it will be interesting to see what my opinion is in a month or two from now!
