Desert Thunderstorm
I'm always amazed at how the natural beauty of the desert seems to intensify 10-fold during times of stormy weather. I took this last week while searching for a good location for a star trail.
Taken from Culp Valley overlooking Borrego springs. Coyote mountain and the Santa Rosa's are in the distance. This was three bracketed exposures shot hand held and merged to HDR in photomatix. This may look a bit overprocessed, my HDR skills aren't the best.
