I Geek Bokeh - Wide-Angle Wide Open Wednesday [07/07/2010]
I needed a picture for my 35mm f/1.4 wide open wednesdays project for today and had very little time due to work and swimming and world cup and dinner and such necessities. I was stuck for an idea, Kate suggested I use my glasses. I remembered I had these geeky glasses I used for fancy dress (beauty and the geek.......I barely had to dress up!). Incidentally, my dad used to wear glasses like this :D ha ha.
I was then stuck for a name, so Kate came up with this also because she remembered an advertising campaign for a library or something, I didn't get it (www.geekthelibrary.org/).
Then she suggests that I was a bokeh geek and made me post the following to prove this:
geek - VERB:
1. To love, to enjoy, to celebrate, to have an intense passion for.
2. To express interest in.
3. To possess a large amount of knowledge in.
4. To promote.
