Prosthetic hip

My wonderfully shiny hip implant, which kind of feels like an alien ray gun.

 

(I've since been told that an implant this big is made to work with the hip's natural socket, so this is the only component of this type of prosthesis. Implants that have a smaller ball require a matching socket implant.)
