FRITES!
Okay, so our adventures in cultural edification through local cuisine continues with Dutch frites, which are basically steak fries in a cone slathred in mayonnaise. Mayonnaise is disgusting to me, but we decided that we had to try it like they do in Amsterdam, so we watched in horror as the less than indifferent frites vendor slopped mayo all over the glorious golden fries. The fries were good, but most of them were casualties of the molten (it was hot) mayo.
