Bert and Mary Cunningham Round Barn (Viroqua, Wisconsin)
This round barn features walls of clay tile and a tile silo in its center. It was built to house cows on the lower floor and hay in the mow above. The structure was possibly designed and constructed by Alga Shivers, a son of a slave who built many of the round barns in Vernon and Monroe counties. It stands at E7702 A Upper Maple Dale Road, just east of Viroqua, and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.
