George Mahan, Jr. designed this lovely courthouse, erected in 1925. The structure features a distinctive copper dome with a cupola clock. It is a contributing property to the Somerville Historic District, which was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
Fayette County is located directly to the east of Memphis in the southwest of the state.
