The Color of Science 2019
On Friday, November 1, 2019, COSI hosted The Color of Science program recognizing the superb contributions of underrepresented groups, including women and persons of color, to modern science and engineering.
This evening featured the remarkable stories of today’s brightest scientists living in our community including Dr. Quinn Capers, Interventional Cardiologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Dr. Lisa Hall, Associate Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at The Ohio State University, Dr. Olivia Aguilar, Associate Professor of Environmental Studies at Denison University, Dr. Arnab Nandi, Co-Founder of the STEAM Factory and Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at The Ohio State University, and Mr. Leonard Sparks (aka "Mr. COSI,") Master Educator at COSI.
