Coco Finishes Route 66!
When I was 12 my parents, aunt, uncle, and cousin and I all went on Route 66. We had 11 days to travel. We started on the outskirts of Chicago because we didn’t want to go into town, and finished on the border of Ca. So basically, aside from going all the way into CA, we did almost the Whole 66 route.
When I finished high school, a friend and I went on a road trip that took us through Chicago, and I was able to ride a bit on the very beginning of the trail, and now, finally, a couple of decades later, I complete the ride.
Better late than never. What a thrill!
