I was paying for a load of blinding (larger grain size than quarry dust) and just decided to take a picture of the quarry itself - It is an impressive big hole.

 

I wonder what it will be like in the future when it is eventually abandoned and there is a body of water there - I think the bare rock will probably be a very biodiverse place over time.
