YOKOSUKA, Japan (May 13, 2013) The guided-missile destroyer USS Lassen (DDG 82) returns to Fleet Activities Yokosuka following operations in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility. Lassen is part of Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, forward deployed to Yokosuka, Japan, to support regional security and stability of the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
