This particular promo was given to Del Webb from Ford Motor Company when he owned a Indy Race Team.
These are vintage dealer promotional model cars that were predominantly made in plastic in 1/25th scale. Promo models were made primarily by AMT, SMP, PMC, MPC and, Johan along with a few produced by Hubley, National Products, Master Caster, Banthrico, Revell and other smaller firms. Automobile manufacturers and dealership personnel have long recognized the value of having small replicas of the full-sized cars that they manufactured and sold.
