cloudiness

I might keep the kickstand. It looks pretty gnarly but still works well, and for an urban commute vehicle a kickstand isn't superfluous.
The black collar to the right of the kickstand holds a pedal arm sensor. A recent previous owner not only cacked this thing up with tape, paint, questionable shop work and never replaced the drivetrain, he also added a multifunction computer with cadence sensor. There's another sensor farther down the chainstay lined up with the magnet strapped to the spokes. And the cables are held down with electrician's tape.
Somebody got spendy on the accessories after cheaping out on the ride. Not shown in these photos is the LED headlamp, dangling by a broken clamp and held together with shipping tape.
