Today is day 42 post stem cell donation and I got an update about the recipient! She has engrafted, which means that my stem cells have taken up residence in her bones and have started making blood cells for her. She has been discharged from the hospital and is "recovering well." Yay! I'm so happy the transplant is going smoothly for her! The next update will come in April.
