Amature Food Porn: Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcakes

Ah, chocolate and peanut butter. So delcious. So potentially deadly.

 

Using Chockylit's basic chocolate cupcake recipe, and a peanut butter cream recipe from a Barefoot Contessa cookbook.

 

In addition to frosting the cupcakes, I also filled them with extra peanut butter cream. This ensured a more consistant flavor combination throughout the eating of the cupcake, but on reflection, made the texture a bit fluffier than I would have liked. Perhaps next time the filling should be a little heavier. Maybe even straight up peanut butter.
