▶ Brilliant October weather, live music, large crowd, and 50 casks of 'real ale,' that is, "Beer brewed from traditional ingredients, matured by secondary fermentation in the container from which it is dispensed, and served without the use of extraneous carbon dioxide."

▶ Festival co-organized by the Chesapeake branch of the SPBW (Society for the Preservation of Beer from the Wood) and the Pratt Street Alehouse. Since 2009, the festival has also been a part of Baltimore Beer Week.
