Esplosione di colori in B/N
Un’immagine controcorrente per la Sagra del Fuoco di Recco 2026. In un’epoca dominata dal colore, propongo un'immagine in bianco e nero non per nostalgia, ma per riflessione. Negli anni ’60 il B/N era una necessità tecnica: il colore, ancora instabile e impreciso, non permetteva di restituire la realtà con fedeltà. Oggi, invece, diventa una scelta consapevole, quasi provocatoria.
Questa fotografia - “Esplosione di colori in B/N”- vuole mostrare come avrei interpretato, allora, la festa dei fuochi: luce, fumo e contrasto come linguaggio puro, dove il colore è evocato, non mostrato. La città di Recco emerge tra le ombre e le scie luminose come un ricordo inciso nella memoria fotografica, una visione sospesa tra tecnica e poesia.

A countercurrent image for the Sagra del Fuoco of Recco 2026. In an age ruled by color, I propose an image in black and white not out of nostalgia, but as a reflection. In the 1960s, monochrome was a technical necessity: color was still unstable and unreliable, unable to render reality faithfully. Today, it becomes a deliberate, almost provocative choice.
This photograph - “Explosion of Colors in B/W” - reveals how I would have interpreted the fireworks festival back then: light, smoke, and contrast as a pure visual language, where color is suggested rather than seen. The town of Recco rises through shadows and luminous trails like a memory etched in photographic time, a vision suspended between technique and poetry.
