Chichester Harbour, Hampshire
This was taken from the east side of the bridge over to Hayling Island. Threes often work well in photography and I love the smoke in the background. This is also one of my first images with a new lens, the 28-300mm (f3.5-f5.6). These super-zooms aren’t quite as sharp as my 24-70mm and 70-200mm f2.8 lenses but they offer high quality convenience especially when you’re still trying to find your composition. I shot this hand held by increasing the ISO to 1600 with little discernible loss of detail.
