Flags? Banners? Pennants?
I could only find one single western-style horizontal flag around town -- a tiny Italian flag in front a local Italian restaurant. These things, on the other hand, are all over the place. These banners are advertising Ponta -- a point card. I detest Ponta -- when the card originally debuted they ran a commercial with a jingle that only used the word "Ponta" thirteen times. I heard it daily on TV and was so irritated, I swore that I would never, ever use the stupid thing.
Anyone want to guess what the animal mascot is?
