Rice cooker preparation

I'd not yet set the time or removed the colourful sticker. I'm probably using the wrong kind of rice - it's Sainsbury's Easy Cook.

 

The rice cooker came with a free bag of fragrant thai rice, but I gave that to Ernest's Mum.

 

I hope the instruction etched into the bowl isn't important because I've no idea what it says.
