Thoughout history mute swans have featured in folktales myths and legends and playing on this theme i think a fitting title for my image...
A very hazy calm still sunrise morning over Start bay and Slapton ley with not a ripple on the lake around the bridge end.
I thought maybe there would be a few more early visitors around lakeside as the Tour of Britain cycle race would be passing along this way later in the day.
Thankfully I was the only person along the lake path during sunrise so any wildlife lakeside had not already been disturbed.
