100716-N-8720O-005 FORD ISLAND NAVAL BASE, Hawaii (July 16, 2010) - Cmdr. Orlando Grisales of Columbia's Coast Guard Corps, indicates the assigned roles of various mission components in the Sea Spirit Battle Lab during Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2010. The Battle Lab allows component commanders from each of the participating nations to strategically orchestrate unit placement and timing to determine the optimal course for victory in a hypothetical war with a fictitous island nation. Fourteen nations are actively engaged in this year's exercise, making it the largest RIMPAC event since its inception in 1971.
