1940 Twin Coach GWFT #643 Originally STS 905 ex Metro 622(2)
#643 was built as Seattle Transit System #905 in 1940. It was renumbered to 643 in 1964, and Retired in 1966. In the early 70’s it was recovered from the railroad museum in Snoqualmie, and restored and reactivated by Seattle Metro with electrical components from 622, which was involved in a wreck and then renumbered as 622 (2). MEHVA has since restored it as #643. Here is #643 at 2nd and S. Main at the completion of the 4 hour Trolley Trip
