Clothes Peg - Reverse lens technique
I decided today that I would experiment with the reverse lens technique, what I like to call the poor mans macro lens.
By combining the 18-55 kit lens (@55mm) with a reversed 50mm you end up with some pretty serious magnification.
It's a tricky technique to use as you have an extremely shallow DOF to play with and you are only able to focus by moving closer to or from the subject.
I'm pretty happy for a first attempt. Will definately try more in the near future.
