COMMLOON 0340

Common Loon, Gavia immer, 32 inches. Generally UNCOMMON on open water of large clear lakes, open ocean and bays, on most large bodies of fresh water and along the Gulf Coast. This winter plumaged bird was fishing near the breakers. Handheld.
