Street Violence #2

It's a well known cinematic device to use oranges as foreshadowing to death. I don't know why this is or where it stems from, but anyone who's watched any of the Godfather movies knows this to be true. (If you doubt it, fastforward to the drive-by shooting scene... and watch the rest of the movie.)
