i look kind of beat down but really i was high as hell at this point (and also coming down from the endorphins). i think the combination of steroids, h2&h1 blockers and sedatives (i took ativan) wore me the hell out. you can see i wasn't even sweating from the pain. all in all, while i am not psyched at the prospect of going through something like this again, it really wasn't half as bad as i expected.
i put these pictures online to show how much of a non issue the test was. i wore street clothes, they let my husband take pictures, there was no face scrunched in agony and rending of the clothes. you can see how relaxed my hands and posturing were throughout. that said, i would've posted the pictures if all hell broke loose too, because i wanted there to be an honest portrayal of someone getting a BMB out there since so many of the photos you find when you do a google image search are staged.
