USS Ark Royal
Captains log, stardate 8136.7: The Ark Royal is now within visual range of the old Earth-style vessel we detected three days ago. Science Officer Glasco reports that it’s the SS Wernher Von Braun, a Savanah-class colonization vessel that disappeared nearly two-hundred years ago. She recalls reading some recent Starfleet regulations regarding these vessels, and while I don’t recall them myself, I’m giving her the benefit of the doubt. She’s looking into the library computers now, but the Ark Royal’s computers have been skittish lately. Regardless, Commander Glasco’s sensors show that the vessel is safe to be boarded. I’m beaming over now with Chief Engineer Quin, Doctor Martinez, and a small security detachment. Maybe we’ll bring back a piece of our own history.
