16 Things..I got tagged too.

So I have to tell 16 things about me...

 

1. Sometimes I like to change the rules, so I'm changing the part were I tag 16 people to 3 or 4.

 

2. I have a son with a disability. It's taught me not to jump to judgement, but to wonder what the rest of the story is, especially when I see a parent having a bad moment with their child.

 

3. I bought my first SLR, many years agor from Richard Avedons cousin Arthur Avedon in Southold, NY.

 

4. I served my first martini when I bartended at 9am ! Really

6. I grew up on Long Isaland NY

 

7.If I could do anything I'd volunteer to study elephants in africa.

 

8. Or go north of 60 degrees to see our great white north.

 

9. I've been a volunteer at out amazing Edmonton folk Music Festival since I moved to Edmonton. That's were I first heard Paul Kelly ( see number 5).

 

10.I am an excellent cook.

 

11.I've been fighting a headache all day, so my head is having a hard time thinking of number 11.

 

12. I ate elk for the first time on Thursday.

 

13. When I was 11, i brought a deeer hear in to show and tell at school. My Dad hunted and always bought home a deer so grew up kmnowing exactly were my food comes from--not like most kids today.

 

14. I'm 52.

 

15.We moved to Edmonton from Missouri just about 15 years agoand when we arrived it was -36C with 3 feet of snow on the ground--and we're still here! :-)

 

16.I love the light this time of year.
