Second talk, downstairs in the shop front about complexity, emergence, patterns from simple rules, "Understanding complexity and why they old rules don't work anymore" by Keith De La Rue using the Snowden/Cynefin framework.
The standout quote for me:
"... you have to try lots of little things and carefully observe the changes ... the old ways of doing things in chaotic systems will not work ..."
So true. This could be one explanation why so many people give up in complex situations like Startups, disaster relief or other chaotic situations.
