Here we go. This time it's a bit closer to home. The fire is situated at Melways Map reference 83 J2 in Upway. Whenever you have Melways reference it's most likely in the Metro area.

 

 

After last weeks fire in the same area we have another. The

report Urgent Threat Message - Nixon Road Fire Upwey 3.50 pm came in after I was told the fire was going. I didn't see it, even though I have plain

view of the place. I was outside cleaning up some loose litter. A neighbour alerted me to the smoke at about 1515. Keeping an eye on the weather and updates. Even though it's over the other side and I'm about 10Km from the base of the mountain, everything is so dry you have to be vigilant.
