Cape Cod Light Beams
Light beams shine from restored Nauset Beach Light on the Cape Cod National Seashore near Eastham, Massachusetts. Made with a cast iron plate on the outside and brick on the inside, it was originally built in 1877 in nearby Chatham before it was moved here in 1923.
How I Got The Shot
With the camera's drive mode set to high speed, I used a wired remote to shoot a sequence of 8 - 1 second exposures. Then in post processing, I set the blending mode for each exposure to lighten so the light from each frame would be visible.
