I'm a big fan of poetry readings and in general spoken word as an art form. This is my friend Robert McDonald who I just met at a reading last month that a mutual friend of ours had invited me to. I decided on the spur of the moment to go to a reading that he was part of that was put on by the Columbia College department of English. I like Robert as a person in general, but more importantly I like him as a writer.
