Jonathan: "Since you will soon reside there, then, yes. I am thinking about it at this very moment, in fact."

 

Suki: "Okay, good, well...*squinches eyes closed, speaks quickly* How-about-you-just-forget-the-visits-and-move-down-there-to-live-permanently?"

 

**Stunned Silence**

 

Suki: *opens one eye* "You still there?"

 

Jonathan (faintly): "Yes. Quite. I would like clarification on the statement you just made, however. You wish for me to move to Hawaii permanently, so that I can be closer to you?"

 

Suki: *flushes, begins to babble* "I know it's a lot to ask, and you're probably thinking, 'Who in the hell does this chick think she is?!' But since you can work from anywhere, and I can't exactly move the surf to NYC...*sighs* Well, never mind. It was a stupid idea, and I knew the chances were pretty slim that you'd just say--"
