World Rhino Day - 22 September 2019
I hope this baby had a chance to become a big, healthy rhino in the meantime ....
The current rhino poaching crisis began in 2008, with increasing numbers of rhino killed for their horn throughout Africa until 2015. Thankfully, there has been a decrease in the number of rhinos poached (892 in 2018) across Africa since the peak of 1,349 in 2015. Yet, two and a half rhinos are still killed every single day: there is still a lot more to do.

Every day should be World Rhino Day and a day for all other species that are becoming extinct because of human behaviour on this wonderful planet !!!
