The monument dedicated to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk (1881-1938), the beloved hero of his Nation and the founder of the modern Turkey.It’s here were Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his faithful companions have issued and telgraphed all over the country the “Circular of Amasya”, that is considered as the first written document putting the Turkish War of Independence in motion.

Aici, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk şi companionii săi credincioşi au pregătit şi telegrafiat în toată ţara Circulara de la Amasya, considerată primul document scris care a pus în mişcare Războiul pentru Independenţa Turciei.
