Quadrant Fader
A quadrant fader, of the type used on BBC mixing desks in the 1960s and 70s, opened up. The small white plastic insulator on the end of the inner arm shows where the sliding contact connects to the attenuation resistors. There are microswitches at each end of the fader's travel, to operate cue lights.
