Fragments of broken CD-ROM
The broken bits of a CD-ROM that must have broken up in the drive. I was given a PC the other day, for parts. I took all the drives out and found that this one rattled. I opened it up expecting to find some small object loose in there that had been dropped in by accident. Instead, I found these pieces of a CD-ROM disk, shattered presumably by the centrifugal forces in the drive. It's a Philips 52x CD-RW drive.
