Ram Jhula bridge.
Tapovan, Uttarakhand, India.
The Ram Jhula (Shivananda Jhula) connects Rishikesh to Gita Bhawan. It is a iron suspension bridge, built in 1986, across the Ganga along the old route to the holy shrines of Badrinath and Kedarnath. (about 3 kms. from Rishikesh) Though similar in design to Lakshman Jhula, this bridge is bigger with a span of 750 feet (230m).
