Dumping in the Dark
24 February 2010. Walking home from Tottenham Leisure Centre, Zena and I pass the usual pile of dumping in Chesnut Road N17.
I've been reporting dumped rubbish along this stretch of pavement for many years. The odd thing is that there's a CCTV camera perched on a column nearby. And, as far as I know, it has only once recorded anyone leaving the stuff - whether on foot or from a vehicle. And that didn't result in any effective action.
