USS Bataan

ARABIAN SEA (March 31, 2014) Capt. Chad Rudisill lands an AH-1W Cobra onto the flight deck of the multipurpose amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) March 31. Bataan is the flagship for the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
