Point Cartwright
I ventured out to Point Cartwright today it was a wild and wet morning raining when I first arrived it stopped just in time for first light allowing me to scamper down the hill onto the rocks.
It then started to rain again as the sun came up but I stuck with it (hoping the 5D II weather sealing would be up for the test) because of the conditions I’ve taken a liking to this imperfect image you can see rain drops on my filters something that would normally write off an image for me but in this case I think it helps to set the atmosphere of this particular morning.
I also decided to not use my ND400 filter this time around as I find it far too easy to go home with lots of silky water shots and not much else for this shot I’ve gone for 1/5 sec and f/13 with the use of some Lee ND grads.
