Garden sculptures at Kasteel de Haar. The park contains many waterworks and a formal garden which reminds one of the French gardens of Versailles. The gardens are 45 ha of 400 ha total size of the estate.

Kasteel de Haar - Landgoed de Haar

Kasteel de Haar (restored 1892) - De Haar Castle is located in Utrecht near the village of Haarzuilens. The current castle buildings, all built upon the foundations of the original castle (Est. 1391), date from 1892 and are the work of Dutch architect P.J.H. Cuypers, he restored it in a Neo-Gothic style funded by the Rothschild family.
