Three Bridges Parade, Gales Place. The building at the end (behind the green van) was a pub, and is now a snazzy restaurant.
Recorded one quiet sunday afternoon. Most of the shop fronts have been modified by their owners over the years, leaving only hints of the former 1950s glory behind (uploading soon). All the same, the presence of a 'Mace' foodstore is something of a throwback, even though it's probably just a revival of an old and very familiar name.
Many of the flats above however, are just as they were, with all their old Crittall windows in place. The pseudo-bay windows are rather unusual in this design.
