Just east of the Balcombe Road. Toovies Farm just to the left.

 

I've been past the sign for this path before, but for various reasons not managed to persuade myself over the stile, so it was a pleasant surprise to discover today that it's a metalled path, probably an old service road left over from when they built the motorway. It makes for easier cycling once in a while. Would be a good candidate to be included in the National Cycle Network one day.
