Dwellings Reid

This was share house I lived in while I was at art school in the late 1980s.

This image is part of a set of dwellings aimed to reconstruct a timeline of houses I have lived in over the course of my life to date.

 

As a recollection of sites of intimacy, the project has brought up many questions.

Do houses that were lost forever continue to live on in us?

What is memorial and immemorial in a personal history of time and place?
