On 24 June 2016 Colonel Joel Jackson, Commander 60th Air Mobility Wing, Travis AFB, CA presided over the 60th Mission Support Group Change of Command Ceremony where Colonel George “Dutch” Dietrich relinquished command to Colonel Lance D. Clark. The 60th Support Group Commander directs over 1.900 personnel in six squadrons responsible for civil engineer, communications, contracting, logistics readiness, personnel, security, and services, supporting a base community of 135,000 personnel.
