Harrier Alert

A cloud of redshank put into the air by a low-flying hen harrier over the Dee marsh at Heswall. This gives an idea of the number of birds in the reeds. When you consider the marsh continues for several miles from Heswall to Burton you can apprecialte its importance as a wildlife resource.
